Greco and Beco are Back!

The second volume in The Adventures of Greco & Beco is out! The School in the Glass City features Singapore's favorite green mascots and their friend, the child genius Bucky Foo. In this story, Bucky teams up with Gaia, a girl in his new school, to teach Alex the school bully a lesson about green living. Like the first book, Bucky gets a little help from Greco and Beco to travel through time.

Like The Glass House, this book was launched in conjunction with BiG Day Out 2017. BiG stands for Build iT Green, a movement by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to inspire Singaporeans to build and live in a sustainable manner. The annual BiG DAY OUT celebrates Singapore's efforts to build a greener environment through fun activities, dance and song. I was delighted to hear that the story was turned into a musical and performed during the three-day event.

Although this book is not for sale, it is readily available at any of the Singapore National Library branches. In addition, copies will be distributed to schools so keep your eyes peeled.
